Dimeryl Diisocyanate
DDI
CAS No. 68239-06-5
Chemical Name: Dimeryl Diisocyanate
Synonyms: 2-Heptyl-3,4-bis(9-isocyanatononyl)-1-pentylcyclohexane
Code: DDI
CAS No.: 68239-06-5
Product Description
DDl is a unique aliphatic diisocyanate which is long-chain compound with a 36-carbon dimer fatty acid.lt gives DDl superior flexibility, water resistance and low toxicity compared to other aliphatic isocyanates.
DDl is a low viscosity liquid that can easily soluble in most polar or non-polar solvents. Based onaliphatic isocyanate,it has the characteristics of non-yellowing.
Product properties & Features
Core Advantages:
Non-yellowing: Fully aliphatic structure without benzene rings, outstanding resistance to UV radiation and thermal oxidative aging.
Low toxicity & high safety: Extremely low vapor pressure (<0.001 Pa at 25 °C) and faint odor, eco-friendly for application.
Low water sensitivity: Long hydrophobic molecular chain provides shielding effect, excellent stability against water, enabling production of stable water-based emulsions.
Superior flexibility: The long C36 chain delivers internal plasticization effect, with excellent low-temperature toughness and high elongation at break.
Good compatibility: Soluble in most polar and non-polar solvents, and features great miscibility with polyols.
