Product Description
HTPB(Hydroxyl-Terminated Polybutadiene) is a high-molecular polymer synthesized from butadiene monomers. It carries reactive hydroxyl groups at both ends of molecular chains and exists as a low-viscosity liquid at room temperature.
As a reactive liquid rubber, its polybutadiene backbone and terminal hydroxyl structure deliver high curing reactivity, excellent process fluidity and comprehensive mechanical properties.
It reacts with chain extenders and crosslinkers under ambient or high temperatures to build a three-dimensional crosslinked network. The cured material boasts superior mechanical performance, good hydrolysis resistance, acid & alkali resistance, abrasion resistance, outstanding low-temperature toughness and excellent electrical insulation.
A high-performance liquid polyol, HTPB is widely used in adhesives, sealants, coatings, electronic potting compounds and elastomers.
