Product Description
CHDI (1,4-Cyclohexane Diisocyanate) is a symmetric aliphatic diisocyanate with a compact, regular structure that imparts high heat resistance, low-temperature flexibility, resistance to yellowing, and excellent dynamic properties to polyurethanes.

Exceptional Heat Resistance + Low-Temperature Flexibility
Polyurethane softening point up to 270°C, with a glass transition temperature (Tg) as low as -80°C, delivering excellent elasticity over a wide temperature range.
Superior Resistance to Yellowing & Weathering
Aliphatic structure (no aromatic rings) provides UV stability and resistance to yellowing, ensuring no fading during long-term outdoor use.
Outstanding Dynamic Properties (Low Hysteresis)
Symmetric structure forms dense hard segments + effective microphase separation, resulting in low thermal hysteresis, high rebound, and resistance to repeated deformation.
Resistance to Hydrolysis, Oil & Abrasion
Hydrophobic cyclohexane backbone delivers resistance to humid heat aging; resistant to mineral oils, abrasion, and tearing – ideal for demanding service conditions.
High Reactivity
Faster reaction rate than IPDI/HDI, enabling high curing efficiency and suitability for high-speed molding processes.
Applications
The polyurethane elastomer based on CHDI is excellent in resilience, transparency, yellowing and weathering resistance, etc.
CHDI mainly used to produce polyurethane elastomers, adhesives, coatings, etc..

Packing & Storage
220kg/metal drum packaging. Storage should be cool, dry and ventilated.
The shelf life is 12 months, after the expiration of the re-inspection can still be used. Avoid rain and sun during transportation. Do not mix with strong oxidants.
