Product Description
Trans-CHDl, the highly symmetric, high-performance isomer of CHDI, is the preferred curing agent for premium polyurethane (PU) systems.
Trans-CHDI have Two -NCO groups in trans-para positions on the cyclohexane ring, featuring high symmetry and minimal steric hindrance for tightly packed hard segments.

Exceptional Microphase Separation: The symmetric structure forms highly ordered hard and soft segment domains, with far greater phase separation than cis/mixture isomers, delivering:
Ultra-high heat resistance: PU softening point up to 270°C.
Extreme low-temperature flexibility: Tg as low as -80°C, excellent elasticity over a wide temperature range.
Low hysteresis, high rebound: Low dynamic heat buildup, resistance to repeated deformation.
Top-Tier Weathering & Yellowing Resistance: Aliphatic backbone, no fading or chalking after long-term outdoor exposure.
Hydrolysis, Oil & Abrasion Resistance: Hydrophobic cyclohexane ring provides resistance to humid heat aging; resistant to mineral oils, abrasion, and tearing—ideal for demanding service conditions.
Controllable Reactivity: Slower than aromatic MDI/TDI, faster than IPDI/HDI, balancing curing efficiency and processing window.
Applications
1. Military/Aerospace Elastomers (with HTPB)
-80°C ultra-low-temperature seals, cold-resistant tires, shock-absorbing bushings.
Hydrolysis-resistant, high rebound, low dynamic heat buildup—suitable for polar/altitude environments.
2. Oil-Resistant Structural Adhesives/Seals (with CTBN)
High-toughness oil-resistant seals, hydraulic oil seals, O-rings.
Heat-resistant (150°C+), oil-resistant, high bonding strength—replacing some metal components.
3. Medical-Grade PU (Biostable)
Artificial heart valves, catheters, prosthetics, medical seals.
Non-toxic, body fluid-resistant, anti-calcification, long-term stability.
4. Premium Weather-Resistant Coatings/Adhesives
Automotive exterior paints, wind turbine blade adhesives, optical film coatings.
Non-yellowing, high gloss, abrasion-resistant, salt spray-resistant—no fading after 10 years outdoors.
5. Dynamic Seals/Transmission Components
High-pressure oil seals, conveyor belts, rollers, couplings.
Low hysteresis, high abrasion resistance, fatigue resistance—low temperature rise during long-term operation.
Packing & Storage
200kg/metal drum packaging. Storage should be cool, dry and ventilated.
The shelf life is 12 months, after the expiration of the re-inspection can still be used. Avoid rain and sun during transportation. Do not mix with strong oxidants.
