Product Description
Boron nitide is a crystal composed of nitrogen atoms and boron atoms, is a multi-functional ceramic material integrating ultra-high hardness, high temperature resistance, excellent thermal conductivity, electrical insulation, lubricity and chemical inertness. It mainly has two crystal types: hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN, known as "white graphite") and cubic boron nitride (c-BN, an ultra-hard material). Its applications cover industrial manufacturing, electronic heat dissipation, aerospace, new energy, nuclear industry, high-end cosmetics and other fields.

Applications
1. High-temperature Lubrication and Demolding
High-temperature lubricant: With a layered structure and a low friction coefficient, it can withstand temperatures above 900°C and remains stable in vacuum or inert environments. It replaces graphite for metallurgy, glass, ceramics, sintering furnaces, high-temperature bearings and sliding components of aero-engines.
Release agent: An efficient demolding coating for metal die casting, powder metallurgy, glass forming and plastic injection molding. It prevents adhesion, resists corrosion, improves
the surface finish of finished products and extends mold service life.
Self-lubricating composite materials: Added into metals, ceramics or polymers to prepare oil-free bearings, sliding brushes, seals and wear-resistant parts.
2. Electronic Heat Dissipation and Insulation
Heat dissipation substrates/films: With a thermal conductivity of over 400 W/m·K and electrical insulation properties, it is used in 5G base stations, power devices, LEDs, new energy vehicle electronic controls and 3nm chip packaging, outperforming alumina (3 times higher thermal conductivity).
Thermal interface materials: Filled into thermal greases or gels to reduce the contact thermal resistance between chips and heat sinks and improve heat dissipation efficiency.
High-frequency insulating components: Insulating ceramics and structural parts for high-frequency induction furnaces, plasma equipment and high-voltage devices.
3. Refractories and Metallurgy
High-temperature crucibles/containers: With a melting point of 2,973°C, it resists corrosion by molten metals (aluminum, magnesium, zinc) and glass. It is used for precious metal smelting, semiconductor crystal growth (GaAs/InP crucibles) and high-temperature chemical reactors.
Kiln linings/coatings: Refractory linings and coatings for steelmaking furnaces, aluminum melting furnaces and tunnel kilns, featuring thermal shock resistance and erosion resistance to extend furnace service life.
4. New Energy and Batteries
Thermal management of lithium batteries: Coating on electrodes/separators, resistant to 800°C, reducing thermal resistance, inhibiting thermal runaway and extending cycle life to over 2,000 times.
Solid-state batteries: Coating on separators inhibits lithium dendrite growth, improving safety and ionic conductivity.
5. Aerospace and Nuclear Industry
Thermal shielding/insulation: Heat-resistant coatings and structural parts for spacecraft, rocket engines and nozzles, achieving over 30% weight reduction and resistance to temperatures above 1,500°C.
Nuclear materials: Boron-10 isotopes absorb neutrons, used for reactor shielding layers, control rods and nuclear radiation detection.
6. High-end Cosmetics
Cosmetic powders: Oil control (3 times the adsorption capacity of silica powder), long-lasting makeup, smooth skin feel and biocompatibility, used in loose powders, foundations and eyeshadows.
